This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your data when you use the Kolhagty mobile application (the "App") and our website at kolhagty.app (the "Website"), collectively referred to as the "Service".

By using our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use our Service.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

When you create an account or use our Service, you may provide:

  • Account Information: Name, email address, and password
  • Profile Information: Marital status (optional), occupation (optional), and personal interests (optional)
  • Health Records: Family medical records, medications, and doctor information that you choose to store
  • User-Generated Content: Any content you submit, such as reviews, ratings, or feedback

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you use the App, we may automatically collect:

  • Device Information: Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information
  • Usage Data: Pages or screens viewed, time spent on the App, navigation paths, and interaction data
  • Push Notification Tokens: Firebase Cloud Messaging tokens to deliver push notifications (only if you grant permission)

2.3 Location Data

With your explicit permission, we collect your approximate or precise geographic location to display nearby services, guides, and relevant local content. You can revoke location access at any time through your device settings. Location data is not shared with any third parties.

2.4 Sensitive Health Data (Period Tracker)

Our App includes a menstrual cycle tracking feature. All period-related data — including cycle dates, cycle length, and fertility window calculations — is stored exclusively on your device (locally). This data is never transmitted to our servers and is never shared with any third party. If you uninstall the App, this data will be permanently deleted from your device.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Provide and maintain our Service and features
  • Personalize your experience by showing content relevant to your interests and preferences
  • Display nearby services and local guides based on your location
  • Send push notifications about new offers, content, and updates (with your consent)
  • Improve and develop new features and functionality
  • Ensure security and prevent fraud or abuse
  • Comply with legal obligations as required by applicable laws

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data to third parties.

We may share limited data with the following service providers who assist us in operating the Service:

  • Supabase: Cloud database and authentication services — stores your account data and health records securely
  • Firebase (Google): Push notification delivery via Firebase Cloud Messaging
  • Mapbox: Map rendering and geolocation services to display nearby locations

These service providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and may only use it to perform services on our behalf. We may also disclose your information if required by law, regulation, or legal process.

5. Data Storage and Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

  • Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS protocols
  • Secure Cloud Storage: Account and profile data is stored securely via Supabase with row-level security policies
  • Local Storage for Sensitive Data: Health-sensitive data (menstrual cycle tracking) is stored exclusively on your device and never transmitted
  • Access Controls: We restrict access to personal data to authorized personnel only

While we strive to protect your data, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but will notify you of any data breach as required by law.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, regulatory, or security purposes.

Locally stored data (such as period tracking data) is retained on your device until you clear the App's data or uninstall the App.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access and Update: You can view and edit your profile information at any time within the App's profile settings
  • Delete Your Account: You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from the App's profile page. Account deletion is processed immediately and data is purged within 30 days
  • Withdraw Consent for Notifications: You can disable push notifications at any time through your device's notification settings
  • Revoke Location Permission: You can disable location access at any time through your device's location settings
  • Data Portability: You may request a copy of your personal data by contacting us at the email address below
  • Opt Out of Analytics: You may opt out of usage analytics by contacting us

8. Account and Data Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated personal data at any time by following these steps:

  1. Open the Kolhagty App
  2. Go to your Profile page
  3. Tap on "Delete Account"
  4. Confirm the deletion

Upon deletion, all your account data, profile information, health records, and any other associated data will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days. Locally stored data (e.g., period tracking) will be removed when you uninstall the App.

9. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. 10. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country of residence. By using our Service, you consent to the transfer of your data to these locations. We ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
